Our Goal

The Rise for Life (RFL) Foundation’s primary goal is to assist under-privileged students to rise on the social ladder and escape the poverty cycle, by acquiring a good education. We work with our Partners to identify students from within their educational programs, who would benefit from RFL support as they develop and their needs grow.

We start helping under-privileged students in grade 10, 11 and 12, in collaboration with our Partners and student Sponsors, to assist them to achieve better grades and have the chance to continue their education. Too often, families cannot afford to continue a students education as they need them to earn a living to support the family budget by low paid employment. Through RFL's post-secondary program, we fund and support our students living costs and studies, as they undertake tertiary studies or vocational training at Thai universities and colleges. The foundation board and committees work with partners and sponsors to follow-up and help the students through the full course of their studies.

Following graduation, we use our networks to promote our students into business communities and governments structures, helping them obtain co-fundings necessary and integrate into the economic and civil society by means of internships, training and employment. RFL make the program sustainable by signing a “moral contract” with the recipients of support, under which they engage to apply their best possible efforts during their studies and at a future point in their lives, they commit to take care of and sponsor at least one under-privileged student.
